Where Strategy Meets Arithmetic.

Domino Math Chain is an engaging multiplayer game for up to four players. It's not just about getting the right answer—it's about finding the most efficient path to victory, measured by a final 'Velocity' score. This challenges students to think critically and strategically to be the first to reach the target number.

A Dynamic Math Challenge

Start the Chain

Every game begins with a random starting domino, which sets the initial score for all players.

Make Your Move

On your turn, you choose a domino from your hand and an operation (+, -, ×, ÷) to change your current score.

Hit the Target with Skill

The goal is to hit the target number exactly. Your performance is measured by a 'Velocity' score that rewards skillful plays. Aim to beat your own Velocity score each time you play!

How It Works: A Quick Guide

1

Connect and Set Up

You launch the game and connect. After entering a username, you'll choose to either Create a New Game or Join a Game using a 6-character code.

2

Gather in the Lobby

Players who join appear in the lobby. The game's host selects a difficulty level, which determines the available math operations for all players:

  • Beginner: Addition (+) and Subtraction (-) only.
  • Intermediate: Adds Multiplication (×).
  • Advanced: Adds Division (÷).

For an extra challenge, the host can also add an AI computer player to the game. But be warned: the AI is pretty smart. If you focus on your math, you can beat it!

The host then clicks Start Game when everyone is ready.

3

Understand Your Goal

The game screen shows the Target Number you are aiming for, your personal score, and your hand of dominoes. The objective is to make your score exactly match the target.

4

Making a Move

When it's your turn, you:

  • Select one domino from your hand.
  • Select an available operation.
  • Click the Play Move button.

Your score updates, and a new domino is added to your hand.

The first player to hit the target wins the round, earning a title and a Velocity score based on their efficiency. The ultimate challenge is to improve your Velocity score with every game you play!
